Nick Coldham MA

Nick spent most of his childhood in the Aberdyfi area walking in the hills and mountains where he developed his passion for drawing and painting. After a thorough grounding in Fine Art & Sculpture on a two year foundation course at Chester School of Art he graduated from Wolverhampton Polytechnic with a first class BA (Hons) degree followed by a Masters Degree in Design from Manchester Polytechnic.

Between 1983 and 2007 Nick worked in London as a designer, creating a wide range of commercial concepts for the retail and leisure industry including limited-run products, furniture, restaurants, hotels, pubs and shops, culminating in 6 years operating a successful design consultancy.

In 2007 he moved back to Snowdonia to be closer to his family and to focus on his art. Nick has a permanent exhibition of his work at ArtWorks, 16 Chapel Square, Aberdyfi. Click here to see the ArtWorks website and to find out more.
